How Are The Occupy Protests Affecting Local Small Businesses?

Since the Occupy Wall Street movement began on Sept. 17 in New York's Zuccotti Park, it has expanded to grassroots protests in more than 100 cities in the United States and more than 1,500 cities internationally. But are the defenders of the so-called "99 percent" affecting the small businesses on Main Street more than the banks and corporations they're raging against on Wall Street?

After asking small-business owners in the Zuccotti Park area about their experiences and opinions, we decided to broaden the scope and find out whether small-business owners near protests in other cities nationwide are seeing any direct effects -- good, bad or otherwise -- and whether they support the cause philosophically. Here's what they had to say.
