Leelee Sobeieski Buttons Up: Love It Or Leave It? (PHOTO, POLL)

Actress Leelee Sobieski went ultra conservative for the red carpet last night at the Fashion Group International's 28th annual Night of Stars at Cipriani Wall Street.

We're betting this is the exact opposite of whatever Kim Kardashian was wearing last night.

That blue blouse! The long brown skirt! We can barely see her shoes, but we're guessing they're something orthopedic? We love you, Leelee, but you look so great in clothes that show more skin -- like this dress from September -- this one's making you seem a little too "Sunday school teacher" for us.

All she needed to do was accessorize; wear a diamond-shaped brooch on the front of waist band, wear a decorative scarf or shawl, and cinch or gather up the sleeves somehow, wear a small fashionable hat like Duchess Catherine wears and wear high-heeled shoes to raise the hemline a bit but be careful not to trip on the skirt with each step.

A little more color, or an accessory (like a belt, or necklace) with some texture would have helped. Right now it's missing something. It looks not quite finished.
