Thirty-one years, 12 hours and six minutes. That's how long it took for Michael Hubbarb to connect with his father, WXYZ reports.
"But who's counting?" joked Hubbard, 49, who had been searching for his dad since he turned 18.
With the help of friends and a DNA test, Hubbard found his dad, Warren Powell, who had had a relationship with Hubbard's mom in the 60s, but never knew that she had gotten pregnant.
"I've always wanted a son," Powell told the news outlet. "Through the grace of God, I have one now."
