Rush Limbaugh: Herman Cain Harassment Story 'Unconscionable, Racially Stereotypical Attack' (AUDIO)

The Huffington Post   First Posted: 10/31/11 02:11 PM ET Updated: 10/31/11 10:16 PM ET

Rush Limbaugh Herman Cain

Rush Limbaugh tore into Politico on his Monday show, denouncing the web site for what he called a "hit job" on Herman Cain. Limbaugh said that the story was an "unconscionable, racially stereotypical attack" on Cain.

Politico posted an explosive story about Cain on Sunday. The story alleged that two women accused Cain of sexual harassment during his tenure leading the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s, and that there was a financial settlement with the women in order for them to drop the story.

Cain and his spokespeople initially dodged questions about the story, before going on to flatly deny the allegations.

Limbaugh pronounced himself deeply offended by the piece, saying that it trafficked in the "ugliest racial stereotypes" and was an example of deep liberal media bias.

"This is gutter partisan politics, and it's the politics of minority conservative personal destruction," he said. "...It really is about blacks and Hispanics getting too uppity."

The notion that the media treats black conservatives more harshly than black liberals or Democrats is one of Limbaugh's frequent themes. He wondered aloud what would happen if the story had been about President Obama. The media, he said, would have attacked the unnamed women in the story.

"They would name names and they would destroy them." he said.

Let me get this straight...Limbaugh thinks he holds enough of what is left of anybody's opportunity to behave like a goon and still have enough moral high ground left ovwr to accuse somebody else of racism? How much does it take for ditto-heads to finally realize that hey have been played for decades by a guy who will say and do anything to keep them voting against their own best interests?

While Limbaugh is denouncing Liberals, Cain is blaming Perry.

Does that make Perry a liberal?

OR Limbaugh just hilariously contradictory?

If Limpo keeps getting eye tucks, his eyes really will be open and he will see the truth? Naw. His defense of Cain is a ruse to try to tie racism to the Left. And we will find out that the Left was not the source of the disclosure about Cain. Mr. Cain started his presidential campaign to try to sell books and it snowballed out of control. What's odd is that he had 10 days to prepare a response to the sexual harassment charges, and he didn't. He's toast and thank goodness. Whatever else he is, he's not presidential material. But it's fun to watch Limpo get all offended and stuff...

Secretly, of course, Rush is relieved.
They can now broom their "too popular" black candidate without making an uncomfortable public racial scene.
Throwing Cain to the canines is the best of the best for the Rushcoats.
04:47 PM on 11/02/2011
But he hates Romney. All the bagger types are upset about Romney being the inevitable robo-candidate. I think they honestly thought Cain would be the one. I don't know how they thought it, because he's so ridiculously unviable, but it seems like they did.

The 'bagger types', maybe, but Limbaugh is no 'bagger'. He's tried to re-cast himself in such a light in the past few years, but he was a big Romney supporter in 07, as was the rest of the GOP.
