We are right about halfway through the NFL season, but even further along when it comes to fantasy. Sure, the fantasy drafts mean more in football than any other fantasy sport. After all, in baseball there are more than 200 different starting pitchers to choose from, but in fantasy football, there will be 30 starting running backs for better or worse.

On that note, if you drafted Adrian Peterson with the first pick of your fantasy team, odds are you are pretty competitive this season. On the other hand, if you opted for Chris Johnson with your first round pick, let’s hope you at least drafted Wes Welker in the third round.

The good news for fantasy managers is that the season is far from over and there are always a handful of players who can make key contributions to your fantasy team that are available on the waiver wire.

Let’s take a look:

A seventh round pick out of Auburn back in 2006, this 27-year-old receiver celebrated his birthday this weekend with four receptions for a team-high 107 yards.

After establishing a career-high with 494 yards last season, Obomanu is on pace to pass that total this season. He has surpassed Mike Williams on the depth chart and should offer fantasy managers a decent deep league wide receiver for the remainder of the season.

Antonio Brown is also a good pick up, especially if your league counts returns.
