Kim Kardashian Divorce: Blogs About Split

Kim Kardashian has finally opened up about her decision to divorce Kris Humphries, and it turns out that starring on a reality TV show had something to do with it.

She writes on her personal blog:

I want a family and babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed in to something too soon. I believed in love and the dream of what I wanted so badly. I felt like I was on a fast roller coaster and couldn't get off when now I know I probably should have. I got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show that when I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn't know how to and didn't want to disappoint a lot of people.

Kardashian filed for divorce Monday, citing "irreconcilable differences." Rumors had been circulating about the couple's relationship problems since their August 20th nuptials, prompting the reality star's divorce filing after 72 days of not-so-wedded bliss.

Still, Kardashian insists she married for love -- especially to naysayers who are calling her marriage a sham:

I am trying not to read all the different media reports but it's hard not to see all the negative ones. First and foremost, I married for love. I can't believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show!

And to the questions the blogosphere has been buzzing about: What will happen to the millions the star reportedly made off her wedding, and what will she do with her wedding gifts?

There are also reports that I made millions of dollars off of the wedding. These reports are simply not true and it makes me so sad to have to even clarify this. I'm so grateful to everyone who took the time to come to my wedding and I'll be donating the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation.

Sisters Khloe and Kourtney also blogged in support of Kim, expressing love for their sister and thanking their fans.

Humphries has yet to release an official statement about the split, and was reportedly shocked to learn about Kim's divorce filing.

"I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce ... I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it work," the NBA star told TMZ Monday.

I support you Kim with all my heart. I am media person myself and I trust in you and know you are honest! People who are reading those negative comments should understand that the other side is the one who want to make money by ruining your and your family's live.

It is obvious that the other side wants to manipulate your love and trust you have shared together. This is not just painful but reading such a terrible lies is just unbelievable.

Kim I do believe that all intelligent people understand that you were truly looking for the love and believed in him.....

In return he just used your name to manipulate and make money on posting and sending lies to the media.
I took the time to write this post as I do believe that you have many people on your side.
I was never involved in following your blogs or every tv show but got involved after seeing terrible news that his father wants to write a book about you.

Please understand that beautiful women who are also vey successful as you get more people to the wrong side as they are jealous that they will never become so successful as you are!

Kris Humphries is better off without the Kardashian family. On their reality show they display themselves as pure trash with the filthy scenes and vulgarity displays and Bruce Jenner has surely defamed himself by allowing this type of trash within his family. I just wish without dollar signs in their heads that they would sit back and watch their own reality show with a open mind an see what damage that they are really doing. They also proclaim to be Christians believe in God and display themselves as they do surely not Christian like!

She wanted a family and babies in 72 days? No, most people stay together to work on the relationship and the individual baggage they each bring to it and this work simply takes more than 72 days to accomplish before a decision can be made. Oh yeah, and they don't do it on a reality show.

I knew this marriage was doomed when Kim said she couldn't live in MN and her soon to be husband said, don't worry, no one will remember you in a few years! I'm surprised that the wedding actually occurred, but Kim said it best, she got caught up in the hoopla. Here is a beautiful, smart, savvy young woman who just wanted to be married and he was 'cute' so he became the chosen one.

But Kim is Lexus, Kris is Kia; Kim is Calabasas, Kris is nowheresville, MN; Kim is Rodeo Drive, Kris is Wal-Mart. This was not a match made to last.

Great publicity, but Kim can get that on her own. Who ever heard of him before he became engaged to Kim? She was smart-she saw the light-and got out of the marriage before kids were involved. Don't dis her for realizing she made a mistake. Kim will come out of this stronger and smarter-hopefully she won't make the same mistake twice...

Don't blame the demise of this marriage on negative thinking and manipulation. Kim said it best-she got caught up in the hoopla. Didn't think past the wedding.Now she has, albeit a little late, but at least she knew this marriage wouldn't last and better to get out now. OMG, I feel the same way! I once loved to watch the show and when Kris H came on and didn't bend to all the K's rules which are many made the show a bit more interesting. Kris H is a down to earth guy who I think did love the B-otch Kim. She isn't a hopeless romantic she is in love with herself.
