Funny Products For Women: Items We'd Be Better Off Without

There is a history of misguided attempts by companies to market to and create products for women (check out this chin-reducing device and the Glamour Bonnet -- eep!)

While women are no longer encouraged to stick their heads inside items resembling something out of "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" in the name of beauty, there is still a sizable gap in perceptions of "what women want" and what women actually want. Here are some products womankind would definitely have been better off without:

You mean you'd prefer to squat over a public toilet!? Sorry, p-mate and products like it [oh yes, there's more than one brand] are awesome. Everything else on this list is pretty ridiculous, though.

The p-mate or other such devices come in pretty handy especially if you travel a lot and there is no toilet in sight. Actually, there was a website that taught women how to void standing up (sans device).

2 is a great idea for picnics, parties and suchlike. Looks a lot classier than carting around a "chateau du cardboard" as we like to call them.

Reminds me of my list of toys that aren't worth buying. Some big names on here so not everyone agrees but these are from personal experience & the feedback of other parents.

I would buy products I really need or want for benefits such as money, entertainment, better health, etc.

Suggestion: Never buy something that you will not use that often or cannot sell or get rid.

I was camping in Yellowstone Park on New Year's Eve and it was snowing. I would have loved to pee standing up. Just try to urinate with your rear end in the snow.
