Diane Von Furstenberg Gives Dating Advice For Match.com Seminars

Dating Advice From DVF

Famed designer Diane von Furstenberg is well known for her stylish wrap dresses, her bold prints and her relationship advice. Wait, what was that third one?

It's true: DVF is launching a new series of relationship seminars to help you learn how to dress for a date, Elle reports.

Von Furstenberg, who's the president of the CFDA, is teaming up with Match.com to school you in first date fashion during three styling events in New York, Dallas and Miami. The designer will be offering Match.com members exclusive expert advice on how to dress for success using three popular first-date scenarios: cappuccinos, cocktails and dinner. DVF will also style your outfit for you -- that's worth the price of admission right there.

Diane says in a release that finding the right person just takes a little mojo:

"Dating is really all about confidence. It is about dressing in a way that makes you feel comfortable and beautiful. Match.com and I wanted to do something fun to encourage women to be themselves and to go for it!"

In a recent interview with The Huffington Post, Diane reiterated her confidence message, stating that "men should never underestimate a woman." Cheers to that.

As for her own love life, the designer was previously married to Prince Egon von Furstenberg; her royal relationship ended in divorce in 1972, although she continues to use his name. In 2001, she married media mogul Barry Diller, with whom she'd been involved on and off for decades.
