Fox Business

Adweek:

t was an abysmal month for Fox News' young sibling channel. Fox Business Network saw an average daily viewership of around 65,000 for October, according to Nielsen, which also happened to be the month of the network's four-year anniversary. In its target 25-54 demo, though, Fox Business only drew an average of 10,000 viewers per day. This, compared to the network's chief competitor, CNBC, which saw around 201,000 viewers on average and 59,000 in the 25-54 age group. A source familiar with the network says that four years in, they expected Fox Business to be performing "a lot better than 10,000 in the target demo."

The bigoted flag waving uneducated that watch fox news and smilingly vote against their own interest
and have no spare income have little in common or interest in Fox Business channel and never will. It's a lost cause and a show looking for a non existent audience.........

The problem with business news is that it relies on facts. They are sorely lacking from Fox properties and they have had little experience with them.

If in the mood to have some fun about the problems old media are having
and increasingly facing, this video can be recommended.
It's really brilliant fun about them, Fox channels included.

Not even close....this is what happens when a propaganda network tries to use propaganda on business people...they want facts...something that is foreign to Faux news and their viewers.

FBN is just another vehicle for bottom rung pundits to bash President Obama and blame him for the weasels on Wall Street and the GWB Depression.

The Takeaway?

Nobody trusts Faux with their MONEY or their BUSINESS.
And the only ones actually watching Faux "News" are at the bottom of the foodchain as far as TV viewers go.

Go to it, tr0!!z...

Wow. So, out of a population of some 300,000,000 people, FBC draws 10,000 people - or about 0.0003% - in the prime demographic group. There are probably local access cable channels that outdraw that anemic number.

But this cannot be!  The gops are always going on and on about how awesome they are and that everybody swoops in to watch Fox!  There must be some liberal conspiracy at work here at the Nielsen Company!

More "HOT" babes with shorter skirt lengths and lower necklines will certainly spice-up their ratings.

FOX News appeals to the rightwing nutjobs. No serious person interested in Business News is going to tune into a Fox produced 'business show'. It goes to show you just how tainted Fox has made itself as a brand.

It's so true. Right wing folks seem to want their own world view spewed back at them, which explains the success of Fox News. But as you say, you want to feel that you are getting objective business information, without the right wing slant. So Fox "Business" can't get credibility.
