Kim Kardashian And Kris Humphries Still Talking After Split

Calling it quits after just 72 days of marriage and hopping on a plane to Australia apparently isn't enough to keep Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries apart. According to Radar Online, the pair are still talking on the phone and chatting via text message.

"Kim and Kris have spoken on the telephone, and are frequently exchanging text messages on their BlackBerrys," a source told Radar. "Kim is absolutely numb and was truly surprised and shocked at the backlash she has gotten since she decided to file for divorce."

Kim jetted off to Australia just hours after the announcement that she had filed for divorce from her newlywed husband, citing "irreconcilable differences." But perhaps Kim and Kris' post split communication is what has the raven-haired beauty cutting her trip down under to promote her Kardashian Kollection handbag line short.

Kim's long distance telephone cell phone bill will certainly see a spike due to her alleged communication with her now estranged husband but we have a feeling she's not too worried about the extra charges. The Kardashian clan ringleader gave up a $150,000 appearance fee at a Swisse Vitamins event in Melbourne so that she could hitch a ride out of the country as soon as possible, according to the UK's Daily Mail.

Kardashian is flying back to Los Angeles where she will be confronted with the media firestorm that has been unraveling since she's been gone -- let's hope the fragile reality star can handle it.
