A 2-day old puppy rescued after getting trapped in a wall was aptly named "Lucky," KCNC reports.
A Denver firefighter crawled into a 12-inch, dirt crawl space on Saturday to save a Chihuahua mix who had fallen through the floorboards. The puppy's mom and three siblings listened on as the pooch whimpered in distress and the firefighter pushed forward until he successfully retrieved the dog.
"You could see it in her eyes that she was really stressed," owner Armando Velarde told the news outlet. "Just to have him here alive and all right...It’s a lucky situation."
