Aron White Stuck In Hedges: Georgia TE Scores Touchdown, Gets Stuck In Hedges At Sanford Stadium (VIDEO)

WATCH: Georgia Player Gets Stuck In Iconic Hedges After TD

New Mexico State had no answer for Georgia on Saturday. During the second quarter, the Bulldogs hung up an astonishing 42 points en route to a 63-16 throttling of the Aggies at Sanford Stadium in Athens. Georgia receivers ran routes freely and runners broke tackles as the visiting NMSU defenders just couldn't seem to grab ahold of anyone in a red uniform.

NMSU should have taken a lesson from the historic privet hedges lining the field: wrap up with all your limbs.

Georgia's last score of the first half came with just 10 seconds remaining when Bulldogs QB Aaron Murray completed a pass to tight end Aron White as his route took him toward the back corner of the end zone. White had gotten a step, or two, on Aggies defender Ben Bradley and reeled the ball in without much problem. His momentum carried him out of bounds toward the Georgia Band, which was likely preparing to perform during the intermission. White leapt over an instrument identified by the announcers as the xylophone.

White's dive landed him right in the famed hedges that ring the field at Stanford Stadium. An iconic fixture of SEC football for decades, the hedges showed that they may be just as tough as any of the conference's signature defenses. White needed the help of several teammates before he could break free of the horticultural tackle.
