Froylan Andrade Arrested For Alleged Groping Of Shayne DeJesus On Train

Subway Groper Arrested

Police in Queens say they've arrested the man who allegedly groped Shayne DeJesus at the Union Square subway station.

ABC News reports Froylan Andrade, 39, is charged with sex abuse after cops were able to identify him from a photo DeJesus snapped on the train.

DeJesus, a 22-year-old student at City College, said that on October 23rd she was standing on the platform waiting for the 6 train when she noticed Andrade lurking next to her. According to The New York Post, Andrade allegedly started to rub against her thigh and then DeJesus says he:

...grabbed my right shoulder and pushed my head down and lifted my skirt up and groped me...He went on the train and sat down as if nothing happened. I was hysterical. I yelled that he just groped me.

When no one in the train came to DeJesus' aid, the co-ed attacked Andrade, kicking and punching him in the head while screaming "Don't you ever!"

DeJesus then snapped a photo of the perv before he exited the train.

Although it's risky to fight back against an attacker, DeJesus told CBS News she has no regrets.

"I feel good. I told friends and they said, 'You go girl.' And I'm like, yeah."

Last year, a similar incident occurred on a subway train when a man flashed his penis at a woman. The woman was caught on tape defending herself yelling, "That's it! Oh you're getting fucking arrested. I'm not leaving your side. My plans are done for tonight."
