30 Bloggers Wear Red Ribbons To Support AIDS Research

Kenneth Cole's influence in the world of fashion goes beyond his designs - Cole is often thought of as the first to use fashion as a medium to promote socially conscious efforts.

Now, in an effort to bring awareness to the AIDS pandemic and to commemorate the discovery of the AIDS virus 30 years ago, 30 bloggers have partnered with Kenneth Cole, MTV International's Staying Alive Foundation and amfAR by wearing Cole's reinterpreted version of the red AIDS ribbon.

The ribbon will be sold through December 31st and 100 percent of net profits go to AWEARNESS, the Kenneth Cole Foundation in support of the MTV Staying Alive Foundation and amfAR.

At $5 each, you can also purchase the ribbon at Kenneth Cole retail and outlet stores and Kennethcole.com, Bloomingdale's, Gilt Groupe, and House of Fraser in the U.K.
