Joseph Gordon Levitt Covers R. Kelly's Hit Song 'Ignition'

As if girls around the globe didn't already consider Joseph Gordon-Levitt their celebrity soulmate, now there's another reason to add to the list: He also likes to cut loose and belt out R. Kelly songs!

With guitar in tow, Gordon-Levitt decided to get the party started by belting out an acoustic version of the R&B's popular party song, "Ignition."

After playing a touching cancer-survival lead and Gotham cop, R. Kelly seems like the logical step, right?

Not my favorite R. Kelly song, far from it. Although it looked like a sign of what was to come (Trapped in the Closet. even now, wtf) it was tolerable from him. JGL singing this gem acoustic was pretty nice. I also thought the fact the crowd got in with the signing as well was pretty cool too.

Hahaha, thats hilarious. I wonder if he picks these or if its a game he plays with this friends to see who can pull of a weird cover song...I do that with my friends at kareoke. You have to sing whatever someone picks for you.

search for JGL singing on the YouTubes and you'll find lots of videos of Joseph covering different songs, including Nirvana's "Lithium", Madonna's "Express Yourself" and Aretha's "You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman" - and they're all pretty good.
