Herman Cain On A Fifth Face For Mount Rushmore: 'He Hasn't Been President Yet'

Former Godfather's Pizza CEO Herman Cain suggested a fifth face for Mount Rushmore to ABC News' Jonathan Karl on Tuesday, as part of a series of interviews with Republican presidential candidates.

"He hasn't been president yet," said Cain when asked who would be added to the South Dakota monument along with George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. Cain was possibly referring to himself in his answer. "No, the one possibility up until this point would be Ronald Reagan," he added.

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) also suggested Reagan. But she added that James Garfield, who was president for just over 200 days before being assassinated, would be a good choice since he remains the only person to be elected president from the House of Representatives. (Bachmann would be the second.) She also suggested Calvin Coolidge, because he "got the country's budget back on track."

The question was posed to all of the candidates participating in the ABC News/Yahoo! interviews. Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney suggested Reagan and John Adams. Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman suggested Reagan. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich suggested Franklin D. Roosevelt and Reagan. Texas Gov. Rick Perry said there were enough presidents on Rushmore already.

Cain also answered several questions about sexual harassment allegations against him. He denied remembering Sharon Bialek, who on Monday accused him of groping her in 1997.

When asked who would play him in a movie, Cain was similarly elusive: "he hasn't been discovered yet," he said.
