Keith Olbermann's Penn State Scandal Tweets

Olbermann Gets Into Big Arguments Over Penn State Scandal

Keith Olbermann has been actively tweeting about his outrage over the Penn State sexual abuse scandal, that has brought the formerly-beloved head football coach, Joe Paterno under harsh speculation.

Former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky has been charged with 40 criminal counts accusing him of sexually abusing minors. As the scandal unfolded, it became known that Penn State officials, including Joe Paterno, had known about Sandusky's unlawful behavior.

Olbermann, a former ESPN host, harshly criticized Paterno and Penn State officials for what he has referred to as the "appalling child rape scandal inside the [Penn State] football team."

Olbermann took to Twitter to further reiterate his disdain, and even responded to Penn State fans who remained faithful to Paterno and the football team amidst scandal. "Glad you're more worried about a football team than raped children," Olbermann tweeted to a loyal Paterno fan.

Olbermann also named Paterno the "worst person in the world," Tuesday night on his Current TV show. Watch the "Countdown" segment above and view the slideshow of Olbermann's charged tweets below.
