Celebrity Cruises: Mary Matalin And James Carville Host A Crystal Cruise

Posted: 11/10/11 09:52 AM ET

Politicos Mary Matalin and James Carville are joining the lengthy roster of cruise-headlining celebrities. The duo will headline a March sailing from Osaka, Japan to Los Angeles, reports USA Today.

Matalin and Carville will be joined by former ambassador Marc Ginsberg and former general Hugh Shelton on the Crystal Serenity as part of Crystal's "Ocean Views" program. The group will participate in a moderated panel that will discuss a variety of political topics.

Each will also present individual lectures on board.

Though this cruise might seem a bit weighty, other celebrities have taken to the waves to rock out and have some fun. Here are a few high-seas headliners:

Oh how wonderful. I have scrimped and saved up for half of my toiling life for my cruise vacation and I can't wait to blow my wad on an adventure just dripping with political intrigue and dark secrets. I simply can't wait to find out if Colonel Mustard did it in the cloak room with a giant tax increase on the rich and the greedy!

Better get the life rings ready anyone that would want to be stuck on a cruise ship with these two loud mouths will be enough for people to literally jump OFF the ship and take a chance with the sharks instead of these two rival big mouths.

someone on that cruise should ask Mary Matalin about this statement she made:

BLITZER: Another Republican presidential debate tonight, Herman Cain will, of course, participate. Let's discuss what's going on with that cloud hanging over his campaign.
Joining us in our "Strategy Session" right now, Mary Matalin, CNN political contributor, a Republican strategist and Roland Martin, our CNN political analyst as well.
Mary, you thought he was pretty good yesterday in his news conference, didn't you?
MARY MATALIN, CNN POLITICAL CONTRIBUTOR: I thought he was unequivocal and it was a solid and was a high stakes gamble. He put everything out there and if he is the -- if the grievance girls cannot come up with anymore, he'll be heroic.

Didn't they make a movie of this? Wasn't it called "Voyage of the Damned?" Or was it "Ship of Fools?"
