I bought my son one of these McMansions -- right near school and on the Cattracks bus line. 5 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths. He has four roommates -- all delightful young men. They get on well with their neighbors -- who are glad the home is occupied. The school is beautiful, and all are very glad they are there, with the great opportunities they have to work with their professors. Actually, this is the only University of California campus where this is economically feasible without huge down payments and high monthly costs.
