Chaz Bono On Howard Stern To Talk 'Being Chaz' And 'Dancing With the Stars' Tomorrow

Tuesday morning, Howard Stern will chat with Chaz Bono for his first major interview since his exit from "Dancing with the Stars." And what exactly will Bono have to say about letting the Mirror Ball trophy slip from his hands? You'll have to tune in to find out.

"Howard and his audience have always supported Chaz," an insider told me. "As outrageous as Howard is, he has always been a friend of the gay, lesbian and transgender community. He thinks Chaz is cool and can't wait to talk with him tomorrow."

Chaz is stepping back into the public spotlight -- although this time it won't be with a quickstep -- to promote his new documentary, "Being Chaz," which premieres Nov. 27 on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network. "Being Chaz" is a follow-up to the hugely successful "Becoming Chaz" which followed Cher's son throughout the process of physically becoming a transgender man.

"Chaz is a shy guy but has found a lot of confidence since doing 'Dancing with the Stars,'" a friend of his tells me. "He never wanted to be the poster child for the transgender community but is handling all the attention very well. If he can help change the mind of one person or make life better for one teenager then he will, even if that means subjecting himself to the questions of Howard Stern."

No one in the world would do this sex change unless it was truely a problem. Everyone who talks against Chaz will be held accountable if anything happens to him. Chaz is living for himself now and not for his mom or the public. He has the right to be happy and help others. Transgender people have for to long been pushed aside. I feel sorry for all the people who judge Chaz, I know their kids would be treated bad.

Gender dysphoria
The proposed revisions for DSM-5 include a change from using Gender Identity Disorder to Gender Dysphoria. This revised code now specifically includes intersex people as people with Disorders of Sex Development.[53]

Amazing how many people who do not care about Chaz, want Chaz to go away, never want to see or hear from Chaz again, and can't stand to look at Chaz, all clicked on the link to take them to photos, videos, and a news story ALL ABOUT CHAZ. To have this much h@te while actively seeking out what you supposedly h@te means that you need to do some internal soul searching.

I believe in live and let live. What his choices are is his business. This vitriol expressed here is ridiculous. Our world is made up of unique individuals. Why do people believe it is their right to be judge and jury regarding the reality of others. Respect of difference is the name of the game. International Human Rights Law

The Yogyakarta Principles, which is a document on application of international human rights law, provides definition on gender identity. In the preamble, "gender identity" is understood to refer to each person's deeply felt internal and individual experience of gender, which may or may not correspond with the sex assigned at birth, including the person's sense of the body (which may involve, if freely chosen, modification of bodily appearance or function by medical, surgical or other means) and other experience of gender , including dress, speech and mannerism. Further, in Principle 3, that each person's self-defined gender identity is integral to their personality and is one of the most basic aspects of self-determination, dignity and Freedom. These Principles influenced the UN declaration on sexual orientation and gender identity.

People don't choose to be transsexed. Please acquire an education for you are confused. Chaz followed the recommended medical treatment.
