Naked Cowboy To Host Oyster Dinner In Chicago Wednesday (PHOTOS)

Naked Cowboy Hosts Oyster Dinner Wednesday

The Naked Cowboy, the NYC Times Square street performer, singer and apparently aspiring chef, is due to make an appearance Wednesday in Chicago -- and not to serenade passersby or campaign as a Tea Party presidential candidate.

Robert John Burck, known for wearing only briefs, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat while strumming an acoustic guitar along the streets of New York, will be hosting a prix fixe dinner Wednesday, beginning at 5 p.m., at The Bedford in the city's Wicker Park neighborhood, Chicago Eater reports.

The menu consists of Naked Cowboy's signature "Naked Oysters," in addition to oyster po'boys, lobster rolls and "chowdah."

Interested in checking out the scene for yourself? The dinner costs $25, plus $15 for a special, additional drink. Though interested parties have been directed to RSVP via OpenTable or by calling the restaurant, it appears that the dinner may already be sold out.

If you won't be making it out to The Bedford for Burck's dinner, check out some of what you will -- or won't -- be missing, via the below gallery of Naked Cowboy in action through the years:
