Tiki Barber: Former NFL Star's Wedding To Traci Lynn Johnson On Hold Pending Divorce From First Wife

Not So Fast, Tiki: Wedding Plans Stymied By Ex-Wife

Tiki Barber, the media personality and former NFL star, had plans to marry his fiancee, Traci Lynn Johnson, next May. But there's the small unsettled matter of his divorce from his previous marriage.

The pair's wedding is on hold because his divorce has never been finalized. According to people close to Barber, Ginny is demanding a whopping $150,000 a month in alimony and child support from the former New York Giants running back. Barber attempted to come back to the NFL this year after his hiatus from football -- he denied that he was coming back for the money needed to pay for the alimony -- but no teams were interested in taking him.

Barber split from, Ginny, his wife of 11 years who was pregnant with twins, in order to be with Johnson, who was an intern at NBC when Barber was on The Today Show. The May-December couple -- Barber is 36 and Johnson is 24 -- were engaged this fall. He retired abruptly from football in 2007 with plenty still left in the tank, and his team, the New York Giants, went on to win the Super Bowl the next season.

Tiki's identical twin, Ronde, is an NFL star in his own right: Tiki is the New York Giants' all-time leading rusher, while Ronde has been an All-Pro five times and won a Super Bowl ring in 2002.
