Twilight Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 Premiere; Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson & Taylor Lautner (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

Vampires and werewolves and stars! Oh, my!

Monday night marked the premiere for the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 and after thousands of fans waited for days, the black carpet was finally rolled out. There has been an 'Occupy Twilight' demonstration going on in Los Angeles, California for the last four days. Twihards have been camping out in anticipation for the big night, awaiting the arrival of their favorite vampires and werewolves. Breaking Dawn Part 1 is the second to last film in the series, which is the first half of the final book.

The main three stars, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, greeted fan after fan as they made their way toward the theatre. Stewart wore a long blue sparkling gown while both men looked dapper in their suits. Newlywed Nikki Reed dazzled on the carpet, as well as Peter Facinelli who plays the head of the Cullen vampire clan. The stars of the film were joined by a slew of other celebrities, who looked as excited as the crowd to see the fourth film in the vampire/werewolf drama.

I teach in an all-girl middle school. I will be at the Breaking Dawn opening night on Thursday. God help me. HOWEVER, my level of cool goes up with each one I attend:)

Last week these world-renown mega stars got cemented at Grumans. This week we learn they're making a whirlwind tour across the country.

Maybe next week we'll be told what they're actually famous for.
