Joe Zee Talks Elle, Says Snooki Will Never Land Cover

Snooki

Posted: 11/17/11 02:37 PM ET

These days you can't go anywhere without seeing or hearing about the cast of "Jersey Shore." But one place you won't see Snooki is on the cover of Elle magazine.

"I don't know about Snooki. I'm going to have to pass on that one," the creative director Joe Zee told me when I asked him if reality stars would ever grace his coveted cover. "We put Lauren Conrad on the cover of our anniversary issue and she did very well. Listen, Kim [Kardashian] is a big cover star out there and if Kim had something going on in her life right now -- Kim's very quiet -- I just wish that she would do something, but she's not doing anything. If she actually did something, we would actually think about Kim for the cover. It's about new. It's not about, so much, a reality star. The idea is, are they newsworthy? Is it someone our readers want to read about?"

According to Joe, there is one cover girl who's always newsworthy -- Jennifer Aniston. Although Joe said the rumor about him starting his own clothing line with the actress is not true, he does love the way she dresses.

"I love Jennifer. I think she has incredible style," Joe said about his November cover girl. "I can tell you right now, someone like Jennifer Aniston is so easy. She shows up, she's already ravishing. She's gorgeous. Do some hair and makeup. She puts any dress on and I can tell you that the dress comes to life. Nothing looked bad on that girl."

Ironically Joe will soon become a reality star himself -- he's starring in his own Sundance channel show, "All on the Line with Joe Zee." Maybe fellow realty star Snooki might have a chance at the cover after all.

The magazine editors have enough sense not to put grease balls like the Kardashians or Snookies, on their publication covers. Hell these porkers have mustaches and body hair all over.

This describes all magazines. They exist to make a profit, not to make you happy.

Take it a step further : ban her from earth

Don't blame "Snooki" for being famous; that should rest squarely on MTV and the people who watch it.

George Sand once said "Who wants fame? Just look at the people who are famous."

What is a Snookie? Is that one of those blankets they advertise on cable?

I am sorry, I have to make a quick apology. The photo above of Snooki looks like she's doing the Duck Lips bit, but in actuality, she's blowing a kiss. Sorry for the comment Skooks. But don't do the Duck Lips think anymore. : )

1) Why do girls today look like they've been sucker-punched in both eyes?

2) Is this girl considered to be attractive?

3) Is her height in inches a larger number than her IQ?

Only time will tell all...

Her bra size is probably bigger than her I.Q. I think she mistakes looking like a raccoon for 'attractive'

You know, I hate Jersey Shore, and I am proud to say that I've never watch one episode through it's entirey. However, I felt that Snooki, of all the misfits may have the greatest potential to become something other than a Guidet.

Snooki has lost some weight and has changed her style a bit. Now she just has got to lose the "Duck Lips" pose, and ditch the grotesque nails. Get an acting coach, and take celebry'ism for all it has to offer. She's actually quite cute.

You may not see Snooki on the cover of Elle, but who cars? It is just another elitest snob magazine, focusing on another form of unrealistic modeleque physique. Snooki can do better. She's just got to give up the "JS" antics and mature as a real star.

Please... Real star?

I hope the whole lot of JS, Housewives, Pawn Idiots, Motorcycle Building Fools, Gold Mining Numbskulls, Ice Road Dumbasses etc. are relegated to a near garbage bin soon.

"Reality TV" is a misnomer. It's all a bunch of scripted hogwash.

I said, "mature as a real star." That is, grow up, and become a real star.

Believe me, I hear you...you are absolutely right--get rid of this "reality" TV crap already. I know, I am sick of it too.

I was just saying, if Snooki took the time to separate herself for a moment from all the JS nonsense, she could possibly have the potential to become a real star. Not just some clown, like the rest of the cast.

Hey, she a diamond in the rough. I hate the show, but I kind of like her; she makes me laugh.
