Amy Poehler Wins 2011 Power Of Comedy Award, Pitches New Women-Centric Show Ideas (VIDEOS)

WATCH: Amy Poehler Has Power Now

It's official, Amy Poehler has serious power now.

On Saturday, the comedian, actress and writer was honored with Variety's 2011 Power Of Comedy Award at a star-studded event in Los Angeles. Like the recent Mark Twain Prize, which honored Will Ferrell, the event had no shortage of laughs and industry jokes.

Ferrell was on hand to present the award to Poehler, as was Poehler's husband Will Arnett, who presented a video in her honor while attempting -- and failing -- to not talk about the return of Arrested Development.

But the biggest laughs of the night were scored by Poehler herself during her acceptance speech, as she outlined some of the women-friendly pilots she would soon be pitching as the direct result of her new-found power. Check out her speech as well as several other clips from the night below.
