Rush Limbaugh: Michelle Obama Guilty Of 'Uppity-ism' (AUDIO)

Rush Limbaugh accused Michelle Obama of "uppity-ism" during his Monday show.

Limbaugh was speaking about the First Lady's recent reception at a NASCAR event, where both she and Jill Biden were booed by the crowd. He said it was not surprising that she was booed, because the crowd at NASCAR resented her healthy eating initiatives and her husband's policies.

"What the hell is there to cheer for?" Limbaugh asked. He said that people also didn't like "paying millions of dollars" for Obama's vacations. "They understand it's a little bit of a waste," he said. "They understand it's a little bit of uppity-ism."

Michelle Obama has been a frequent target of Limbaugh's. Previously, he has said she "doesn't look like" she eats healthy foods, and criticized a trip she took to Target.

Once again Rush shows us what he is, by embracing one of the most pointed racial slurs of the 20th century, a century where untold numbers of blacks were mistreated and lynched by people who enjoyed using that word. Thanks Rush for reminding us what you and so many of your fans are.

I've read many of the comments and most of them sound as though they never really listened to the audio of Rush and what was said.
There wasn't anything racial or uppity about the comments.
Just ask yourselves the question Rush proposed; Why was Michelle Obama booed? I'll give you a hint. It wasn't at all racial.

Let's look at the list

Ivy League education---uppity
Big house in Hyde Park (rich Chicago neighborhood)---uppity
1000 bottle wine cellar in the house---very uppity
sends kids to private schools---incredibly uppity
likes to go to trendy, expensive restaurants in Chicago----uppity, uppity, uppity

If I didn't want Rush to call me uppity, I would:

go to Big State U
live in a nice, but not exclusive suburb in Chicago
have a 10-slot wine rack from Crate & Barrel
send the kids to public school
go to Chicago restaurants like Berghoff's (great German food) or Billy Goat's (Belushi's and Ackroyd's inspiration for the Cheezboorgah, cheezboorgah sketch on SNL)

As if Bimbaugh should be a judge of what a healthy eater would look like? He's back to looking like he could explode at any moment. Can you imagine the clamor if another pundit had called Laura Bush uppity? Calling a first lady, no matter what race or or what party they are affiliated with Uppitity.....that's just plain disrespectful. I wouldn't expect anything different from Big Blow Hard. Remember, he's the same clown that claimed Hillary Clinton killed Vince Foster.

I listened to clip... he's as truthful as he is clever. I thought the "art" of his type of theatre was too mix a little truth with some lies and innuendo. Either he's gotten really lazy or his audience is really so backwards and uninformed he sees no need to exert himself.

Even Lee Atwater would cringe at this. His h ate had pinache!
