Tony Scheffler Flash Mob Celebration: Detroit TE Gets Creative After Touchdown (VIDEO)

WATCH: Tight End Performs Flash Mob Touchdown Celebration

Regardless of your opinion on choreographed "flash mobs" (and whether they've jumped the shark Fonzi-style) you have to appreciate the creativity in Detroit Lions tight end Tony Scheffler's touchdown celebration against the Panthers on Sunday.

After pulling in a 17-yard touchdown reception from Matthew Stafford in the third quarter, Scheffler began re-enacting the AT&T flash mob commercial that has been on TV for months. Scheffler's dancing and precision were remarkably spot-on after scoring the touchdown in a game the Lions would go on to win 49-35.

The multi-step celebration becomes even more entertaining if you imagine Scheffler practicing the dance at home the night before the game while replaying the commercial repeatedly on his computer.

This isn't Scheffler's first notable touchdown dance even this season. In September, he delivered being a swashbuckling pirate jig after scoring a touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The message is clear: When Tony Scheffler scores, he scores in style.
