Miss Piggy's Boldest Fashion Statements (PHOTOS)

Miss Piggy has long been a fashion icon, but it's been a red-letter year for the sartorially savvy swine.

First, she was cast as the editor of French Vogue in "The Muppets," which hits theaters this week. Then, she was tapped to host Opening Ceremony's Fashion's Night Out, introducing the store's Muppets x Opening Ceremony collection. She modeled looks from the likes of Prabal Gurung in the November issue of In Style. And earlier this month, the fabulous diva collaborated with MAC on a three-piece collection of eye makeup, so fans can emulate her come-hither peepers.

And Miss Piggy has had plenty of other stylish outings in recent years, including front-row seats at New York and London Fashion Week, various TV appearances and even a private fitting with Marc Jacobs (every girl's dream, whether porcine or human). But happily, she hasn't been made into a coat, like her amphibious beau Kermit.

In honor of her new flick, we've rounded up some of our favorite looks throughout the years.
