What Stores Are Open On Thanksgiving Day?

While anxious Black Friday shoppers await the midnight openings of stores like Best Buy, Target and Macy's, plenty of other U.S. retailers will be open on Thanksgiving Day itself. Among those retail outlets open for business, drugstores CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens will all be maintaining their normal hours, with many of them open 24 hours. Pharmacy hours may vary, however, so it's best to check with your local store if you're looking to have a prescription filled.

Most Walmart stores will also be open on Thanksgiving 2011, along with Kmart stores, which will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
