Florence Welch Borrows From The Joker's Closet In London (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Same Wardrobe?

Leave it to our new favorite fashion icon, Florence Welch, to make a "Batman"-inspired outfit look good.

Florence was spotted arriving at the BBC Maida Vale Studios yesterday dressed in a blue-purple fedora and coat over an orange-patterned dress, her red hair gleaming against both her outfit and the backdrop of fall foliage. To top off the autumnal ensemble, she accentuated her look with a red bag and some pointy boots.

Welch, who just released her sophomore album, "Ceremonials," as her act Florence + the Machine, has become something of a couture maven these days. She most recently clashed patterns (artfully) on "Good Morning America," and she's been seen been wearing everything from Gucci to Balmain lately.

While Florence looked fab, we couldn't help but be reminded of Jack Nicholson's sartorial choices as The Joker in 1989's "Batman." The purple jacket? The hat? The Victorian-style scarf and flash of orange?

But hey, if anyone can pull off a look cribbed from Jack Nicholson, it's this lady.
