Ed Helms, Michael Buble Sing Shocking Rendition Of 'Silent Night' (VIDEO)

WATCH: Ed Helms & Michael Buble's Painful Duet

If you felt "A Very Gaga Thanksgiving" had a little too much Gaga for the whole family to enjoy, maybe you'll prefer "A Michael Buble Christmas." If this online-only clip is any indication, Buble will show off the comedic chops we saw in the classic "Saturday Night Live" sketch "Hamm & Buble."

In this clip, Buble is joined by "The Office" and "The Hangover" star Ed Helms to host a '70s Christmas special, complete with appropriate wigs and fake mustaches. But unfortunately, the '70s didn't quite have electricity regulation figured out quite as well as we do today. And for light-up Christmas sweater enthusiasts like Helms, this could present a wardrobe malfunction that results in less FCC fines and more third-degree burns.

As soon as Buble and Helms begin a beautiful duet of "Silent Night," Helms starts getting painfully shocked by his own sweater. Indeed, tis the season -- Eric Cartman can certainly tell him a thing or two about being shocked while singing Christmas carols.

"A Michael Buble Christmas" will air on NBC on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. EST.
