'Tim And Eric's Billion Dollar Movie' With Galifianakis, Ferrell Gets First Teaser Trailer, Release Date (VIDEO)

WATCH: Tim And Eric's Movie Will Be Insane

The first teaser trailer for "Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie" was released today, and we're officially counting down the days until it hits theaters on March 2, 2012 and video on-demand on January 27.

Comedy duo Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim transition from stage to screen with "Billion Dollar Movie" after their Adult Swim series "Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!" ended in May 2010 after five seasons.

Details about "Billion Dollar Movie" (or "B$M" as they abbreviate it) have been kept relatively quiet, but the movie's official Facebook page confirms that the film will feature Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis, John C. Reilly, Jeff Goldblum and Will Forte, in addition to Heidecker and Wareheim. All of those actors had previously appeared on "Awesome Show."

The teaser consists of testimonials about the film's greatness and expensiveness -- from Wareheim and Heidecker -- and a typically absurd videotaped dance from a very un-Hollywood woman. Not much is known about the film, but Wareheim told The Wrap that the movie follows the characters Tim and Eric as they "get a billion dollars to make a movie, and we make it, and things go awry, and Tim and I just decide to get out of Hollywood and become businessmen in an abandoned mall."

For further clues into the film, Heidecker posted this on Twitter in May:

Since the end of "Awesome Show," the pair have kept busy: In addition to writing, directing, producing and starring in the movie, they also produced "Check It Out! With Dr. Steve Brule," also on Adult Swim, starring frequent collaborator Reilly. Wareheim recently announced a second season of the local news parody.

More recently, Heidecker released a concept album about Herman Cain, with proceeds going to charity.
