Rachel Maddow Mocks Rick Perry's Flubs, Maple Syrup Moment (VIDEO)

Maddow Takes Pleasure In Rick Perry's Pain

Rachel Maddow had a good time making fun of Rick Perry on her Wednesday show.

The MSNBC host mocked GOP candidate for his latest gaffes about American politics. She replayed clips of Perry saying that he would go to Washington in November if elected president, mistaking the voting age for 21, and referring to the "New Hampshire caucuses."

"When you think caucus, think corn cobs, Governor, think Iowa," Maddow offered. She pointed out that the legal voting age in the United States is 18, and that the president's term begins in January.

She also laughed at a clip of Perry marveling at a bottle of maple syrup. She previously said the moment was devastating for Perry's candidacy because "cuddling with syrup" did not look presidential.

After noting that Herman Cain receives one-page briefings about world news almost everyday, Maddow suggested that Perry should receive the same briefings about America.
