Nicki Minaj Barbie To Be Auctioned For Project Angel Food

1-Of-A-Kind Nicki Minaj Barbie To Be Auctioned For AIDS Charity

Diehard Nicki Minaj fans who have long called themselves "Barbies" because of the singer's hot pink wigs and nails can now have their very own lifelike doll modeled after the star.

The "Star Bass" singer has teamed up with Mattel to create a one-of-a-kind Nicki Minaj Barbie that will be auctioned off on CharityBuzz.com, Billboard reports. Through Dec. 19, fans can bid on the doll, which starts at $1,000. Proceeds will benefit Project Angel Food, which provides meals for people living with HIV and AIDS.

"Nicki is a big part of pop culture and also huge within the fashion industry, as well as a big Barbie fan ..." Barbie spokeswoman Stefani Yocky told the news outlet. "It's really exciting for us that she's been so generous to allow us to create this one-of-a-kind doll to support such an important cause."
