Rihanna Reportedly On 24-Hour Health Watch (VIDEO)

A 10-month, 101 day tour? No wonder Rihanna is said to be exhausted.

The ambitious 23-year-old singer, has reportedly been put on 24-hour health watch -- which according to sources means she's under around-the-clock surveillance and even has a curfew.

According to The Mirror, record execs at Mercury requested the measures after Rihanna allegedly had a backstage meltdown and nearly cancelled a show in Dublin, Ireland on Nov. 25.

The singer may have spent most of the year touring but, she still has lots more lined up before the year is through. Sources say that Rihanna's team is determine she look, act and perform her best for the "Loud" tour DVD she's filming in December.

Last week Rihanna, took to Twitter, telling fans, "I'm so light-headed! WTF!!!!!," after her allegedly closed-to cancelled performance.

According to the UK's Daily Mail, the singer even turned to pal Beyonce to help her find the strength to maintain her hectic schedule. But according to reports, Beyonce told Rihanna that she should consider taking a year off from the spotlight after she ends her massive tour and try to get some much needed rest.

Looks like Rihanna's record label has a different idea. Though it might be a supervised "health watch" sources say Rihanna's team are currently in talks with Mariah Carey's trainer, Patricia Gay, to fly in and whip the pop star in to DVD-ready shape.

Check out all of these superstars who rule the stage:

Stop partying so god damn much. How about after a show you just go back to your posh hotel room, take a bath, have a little bite to eat, watch some t.v. and just go to bed?

I have to think that someone as big as Rihanna can tell the record label that she is taking some time off once she finishes whatever commitments she has in the pipe. She works hard and she plays hard for sure, but based on the fact that she hasn't not had a new song on the radio for years now, I think it is safe to say she needs to take a break. But she needs to be the one to tell her handlers that, because they will obviously push her til she breaks if given the option.

Rihanna may be rich from all of this, but she is being treated like a slave."Mariah's trainer being flown in to "whip" Rihanna into shape." What a coincidence those words were used. I have felt for a long time today's music industry does just that, only care about money, not the Artists, and now this proves it!
They will push her til she breaks and then call in for help to keep this poor girl running. Ten months straight? Sick? Passing out? Hell no break for you next year dear?! You will work repeat run work repeat, because you bring in the big bucks for all of those music top dogs. Disgusts me.

Clearly she has become a music industry slave. She is their big money maker. Is it not obvious they dont give a &^% about her and will run her into the ground to her death to keep those big bucks coming in this year. What? Wait til next year? Nooo keep her runnin and runnin and runnin! Evil!!

What a bunch of jealous haters. She does work hard. It doesn't matter that you have resources such as managers, drivers, etc.... If you are going 24/7 you're going to burn out. Esp. If you are travelling a lot. Had to laugh at Beyonce telling her to take a year off though. Someone wants her crown back.

101 show dates in 10 months? That is about 10 work days per month. No reason to not get enough sleep, water and proper meals. If she would quit drinking too much and staying out all night, that might help. I have friends and family in this business that have endured 9-10 month tours with twice the number of shows with no where near the personnel she has at her disposal. Not to mention she is 23...give me a break. At that age she should have plenty of energy and recouperative ability. If she is being responsible to her label and her fans and remembering how frickin' lucky she is to even have a career, this shouldn't be the case. Grow up!!

Rihanna is full of life and youthful. She is very talented and most ambitious and can accomplish this present task. Good luck to her.

Does this girl HAVE to resort to being bizarre to get publicity? Does she actually have any singing talent?
It appears she's headed for some sort of re-hab soon.

Hmm, see the world, stay in 5-star accomm, first-class transport from A to B, sleep in, dine in fancy restaurants, do a 2-3 hour evening show while being adored by many and adding masses to the bank account... I guess it would get kinda exhausting... NOT!

you sound bitter. hate their music or not, they still work very hard. i can't stand this kind of music personally, but i at least admire some willing to work hard.

Thanks for your feedback, but I don't think you got where I was coming from. Hard work is up for anyone's interpretation. What I was saying is gratitude and appreciation is something not to be forgotten. There are those out there who work "much" harder who get much less in return. Mothers who never get a break Monday through Sunday, doctors who work 20 hours shifts to save lives, social workers, those who sacrifice time to volunteer and aid others. These are the people who should be paid milions for what they do. If you consider my statement of "be grateful for the 5-star lifestyle" as "bitter", well, you need to fill your cupcake mouth with a little bit more of those steroids, or NOT!

Maybe somebody should tell "RiRi" that exhaustion happens when you burn the candel at both ends. You can't party all night, drinking, drugging, sexing anybody that comes along and still keep a work schedule including travel...and not be exhausted.

Answer: Get some sleep, get some exercise, eat and drink healthy...stop the late night clubs and craziness...

Heaven forbid the record label miss out on their cut of all that tour merchandise for a performers "health." I like Rihanna but its seems like every 3 months she spews out a new album. Then off to tour again - it may seem like a glamorous life but their is serious strain that is put on a person everyday both emotionally and physically. I am still enjoying her last album and then boom a new one just popped out - I mean a person has to get a break.
