Ron Paul Not Invited To Republican Jewish Coalition Presidential Candidates Forum

Ron Paul Republican Jewish Coalition Israel

The Huffington Post   Posted: 12/02/2011 5:43 pm

The Republican Jewish Coalition declined to invite Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) to its presidential candidates forum next Wednesday in Washington, citing his "misguided and extreme views."

RJC Executive Director Matt Brooks said Paul was not invited because the organization rejects his views. "He's just so far outside of the mainstream of the Republican party and this organization," he told Washington Jewish Week, adding that inviting him would be like inviting President Barack Obama.

RJC's phone lines were reportedly swamped with complaints over the decision.

At a recent debate, Paul suggested that Israel could take care of itself in the event that it attacked Iran, claiming its undeclared nuclear arsenal made it self-sufficient. "Why does Israel need our help? We need to get out of their way," he said when asked whether he would support an Israeli attack against Iran. If it did happen, "that's their business, but they should suffer the consequences," he added.

Paul supported an amendment that would have ended all U.S. aid to Israel, along with Egypt, Jordan and Pakistan. The U.S. sends about $3 billion per year to Israel in military aid alone.

Paul criticized U.S. military aid to Israel in an Oct. 18 debate. "That foreign aid makes Israel dependent on us," he said. "It softens them for their own economy. And they should have their sovereignty back, they should be able to deal with their neighbors at their own will."

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), former Godfather's Pizza CEO Herman Cain, former House speaker Newt Gingrich, former Utah Gov. Jon Hunstman, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum and Texas Gov. Rick Perry have all confirmed that they will attend the event, according to the RJC.

Every time Paul is left out of the conversation--especially when it comes to those engaging in special interest like RJC, it only serves to pique my interest more. Why is this group leaving him out? To stifle opposition. The fact of the matter is that Paul wants to stop giving Israel foreign aid and this group wants the foreign aid to continue. Imo, if any label should be tossed out it should be against this group who is putting Israel's interest before our own. The label "Anti-American" is quite fitting and appropriate.

Things Ron Paul believes and/or has done:

1. That the UN is merging Canada, Mexico and the US.
2. That 1964 Civil Right bill should be repealed.
3. That apartheid is good policy and that South Africa is worse for repealing it.
4. That any woman who gets abortions (including rape victims) is a murderer.
5. That our country would be better if the fedGov acted as if it were 1900. Keep in mind that there was a law restricting women’s right to vote in 1900.
6. In his news letter wrote “Given the inefficiencies of what D.C. laughingly calls the ‘criminal justice system,’ I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal."
7. That the country would be better off without the Dept. of Education, FDA, and EPA.
8. He owned a coin shop for 12 years; this is just funny.
9. That it’s appropriate and has taken financial campaign contributions from white surprimists.
10. Being a John Birch Society key note speaker is ok. http://www.jbs.org/about-jbs/core-principles
11. That heroin should be legal and that that school prayer should be mandatory.
12. Getting fooled into signing a release for the movie Bruno by Sacha Baron Cohen in no way says anything about his judgment.

Arguably, Ron Paul should have been given President Obama's Nobel Peace Prize. Paul is genuinely skeptical of the global effect of our imperial military. I'm sure Rome (and its provincial judge) was stamping out Jewish terrorism in O (or was it -3?) A.D. And England in India in the 19C, and Russia in its border provinces to the Soviet Union--the very border provinces that by Reagan's touted collapse of the Soviet Union brought us into Central Asia, a bizarre place for Lincoln's United States to be. One great American who knew something about military things, said to avoid a land war in Asia. Ike.
Obama has prosecuted two such, and on course, Libya to keep us on our Peaceful toes. Why do I doubt that our generals now know so much more than Ike?
Granted, Ron Paul's healthcare is Natural Selection--a Darwinian if I ever saw one. And lord knows what his less known positions may be. But he is genuinely skeptical that bombing the heck out of countries reduces hatred of the US. Makes sense to me.

In the end not inviting Ron Paul seems both hypocritical to the idea of an open forum for candidates and will no doubt provide further fuel to the fire of those who entertain delusions of minority media control. While within their rights it is absolutely detestable.

Why is this difficult to figure out??? Ron Paul refuses to be beholden to the Israeli's...it is pretty simple.

A vocal percentage of people would argue that Circumcision is Mutilation, for both males and females.

Since Ron Paul clearly dealt with children and there is no clear statement by him on his view on this subject. I would like to have him pronounce his opinion. So that he can let the cards fall as they may.
So Ron Paul, you speak up for quite a number of significant changes that need to be taken in our Society, what about the Issue that you actually have dealt with? Or are you just another politician.....

I would suspect that Ron Paul would call it a personal choice to be made by parents.
12:14 PM on 12/06/2011
Well that would, in my opinion, place him back on the scrap heap of politicians. Since the medical profession in general has clearly laid the way for this procedure to be considered unscientifically valid, a statement that doesn't profess his opinion is purely waffling.

There are many correct futures for our Society and Mankind. Some of them, such as a ban on war, we clearly aren't ready to instigate. This is but one of many issues. Ron Paul clearly should know his profession.

(1) He agrees with the Medical Professionals that it is Unnecessary.
(2) He disagrees with the Medical Professionals that it is Unnecessary.
(3) He refuses to speak because it is too big of a hornet's nest. Typical politician.

A personal choice made by parents? That makes no sense. It's either a personal choice or someone else's choice. If it's his body, shouldn't it be his choice?

Deja vu of Jimmy Carter not being allowed to speak at the last Democratic National Convention because of his book which is critical of Israeli apartheid.

We agree! The Democratic Party is now a "house" owned by Israel partisans. There's fierce competition for the "honour" by the GOP, though.

Ron Paul wants to stop ALL Foreign Aid. He wants to stop all illegal, unprovoked wars, and bring the troops home. Those troops support him by more than twice as much as all other candidates combined. The vast majority of Americans want the wars stopped, the foreign aid stopped, and the troops home.
Those are true, centrist, Consitutional, moral values, American values. Those values are not anti-Semitic, not extreme, not isolationist. Ron Paul and the majority of Americans are in agreement.

This US election is not about Israel. Israel's Prime Minister stated about a week ago that he agrees with Ron Paul. The Israeli people agree with Ron Paul. They want us out of their business, and they don't want US foreign aid because it comes with strings that interfere with their soverienty.

This tiny little Jewish group is out of step with reality, and the desires of Israel, which they place above the US. This unimportant little group are warmongers who ignore what Israeli's want, and who intend to use our money and our children to further their murderous agendas. Candidates who show up and cater to these barbaric, subversive fools should be ashamed of themselves.

Even though other sources I've seen on this topic had more emphasis on ron paul's association with hate-groups and extreme political ideas, I think those responsible are in the wrong. Even if you don't agree with his position on israel, silencing him is totally inappropriate, especially considering the fact that so many american jews do support him.

Its good that the RJC is taking this posture. This is the kind of posture by the RJC, APAIC and others that will eventually wake up the American people to see just how much there is an element among the Jewish people who doesn't want justice and fairness; and who doesn't want peace in the Middle East. Its becoming clearer and clearer everyday where the real problems are that is the hindering peace efforts. I predict 2012 is going to be the year where there will be a great fundamental change is our government's approach to its support for Israel. Or else, we will self-destruct.

"you will have to read more middle east post to find out what I know, it will be obvious"
---------------------
I read the Holy Qur'an to filter all knowledges. What is obvious to me is exactly what Allah Says.

Allah Says:
5:64 The Jews say: "Allah's hand is tied up." Be their hands tied up and be they accursed for the (blasphemy) they utter. Nay, both His hands are widely outstretched: He giveth and spendeth (of His bounty) as He pleaseth. But the revelation that cometh to thee from Allah increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. Amongst them we have placed enmity and hatred till the Day of Judgment. Every time they kindle the fire of war, Allah doth extinguish it; but they (ever) strive to do mischief on earth. And Allah loveth not those who do mischief.

What Allah Says is THE TRUTH.

Maybe you will be helped by going to this link that is owned by Jews. See what they say.

Lastly, don't assume and classify people a certain way who you don't even know. I write 1 or 2 sentences on a limited format and you know everything about me. That doesn't speak well for your intelligence.

Ron Paul and his supporters are "anti-semetic" I can guarantee you that

Just look on websites like Stormfront and Vanguard to see how Ron Paul is loved by those people

Read Ron Paul's history to see how he has a PROVEN record of Racism(of course he denies this)

Ron Paul and those who like him would be more then happy if Israel is cut off and there would be a big war that would kill alot of people and maybe the conflict would come to an end

While it is understandable why he was excluded, he still comes out like the bigger person in this and RJC comes out like the loser

Define "anti-Semitic"? What is an "anti-Semitic"?

Every time it appears that someone is an "anti-semite" is when there is a realistic, sober-minded approach by someone saying what should be our government's policy towards Israel. It seems, to be accused of being an "anti-Semite" is to say something truthful against our governments approach to Israel. Are the Jews the only ethnic group considered "Semitic Peoples"? What about the Arab Peoples? I know the language of Arabic is a Semitic language. If the Arabs language is Semitic then the Arab people should be considered Semitic. There are other semitic groups too besides Jews and Arabs. Therefore, when someone says Ron Paul, Jimmy Carter, Paul Findley and many others who has spoken a truth that is against Israel - that they are anti-Semitic - are they saying that they are against Arabs too who are Semitic people?

Personally, as for me we all should be anti-lies, anti-injustices, anti-double standards, anti-putting Israel before America, and anti-devil.

Well whenever People want to come up with a reason why others are against something, it always falls to race or Religion. If you don't want to help Israel, you are anti-semetic. If you don't like Obama, you are racist. The thing is, when you have points of view, that clash with certain people's, they don't have anything else to come back with. So they call you names.
10:38 PM on 12/04/2011
I've read Ron Paul's articles since 1995, read some of his books, heard him speak several times and met him twice. I haven't read or heard any racism or anti-semetism from Ron Paul.

Jamie Kirchik was a journalist who tried to smear him with racist allegations on the eve of the New Hampshire primary in 2008. Kirchik later admitted in an interview that he writes things to "to stir the pot" and does not believe Ron Paul is a racist.

So what if some racists agree with some of his ideas? Some communists and socialists like Obama. Some theocrats and crony-captialists like the other Republican candidates. A candidate states his/her positions and does not have control over who agrees.
12:51 AM on 12/05/2011
have you read the Ron Paul newsletters? Ron Paul denies he wrote them, but "racist" newsletters were printed under his name and he said he has no idea who wrote them

There is a reason he is loved by the racists, they know they have a guy with Ron Paul in charge

To the Republican Jewish Coalition:
You rejected Ron Paul, but you accept the neo-Hitlerian Michele Bachmann, whose immigration policies are identical to the policies that led Hitler to attempt to eradicate the Jews. Jews said "Never again," yet here you are supporting a Hitler clone with an identical policy. You are hypocrites.
