The "legendary" Cass McCombs is out with a protest song-story about Bradley Manning, the U.S. soldier facing trial starting Dec. 16 for giving information to WikiLeaks. The McCombs version of Manning's ride from boy to soldier to prisoner is an engaging listen, like a somber, civic-minded "Rocky Racoon." You kind of make me sick. Guess you don't believe in moral responsibility. If you saw torture and sexual abuse apparently your responsibility is null and void. May god have mercy on your soul.

I hate secrets and lies. Somethings identified as secret are pretty inane as WikiLeaks has shown. If the world had less secrets and lies, do you think we could all get along better?

I am right with you on the lies part, Cheyla. Some things need to be secret and Bradley Manning and Wikileaks are not the arbiter of what those things are.

Yeah like going to war with a country we never should of and we would probably still be there if this 22 year old man hadn't been brave enough to speak out. This is a reason why terrorists are born. I bet this treatment "really" encourages lots to enlist. He told of this; Medical evidence detailed how prisoners had been whipped with heavy cables across the feet, hung from ceiling hooks, suffered holes being bored into their legs with electric drills, urinated upon, and sexually assaulted. I say thank god for Bradley Manning. If it was dam secret then did a 22 year old have access? The army messed up and a 22 year old that could be your son , nephew or neighbor is imprisoned.

Between 2004 and 2009, the U.S. government counted a total of 109,000 deaths in Iraq, with 66,081 classified as non-combatants. I HAVE A FEELING YOU'D JOIN IN ON THE TORTURE. HOW CAN YOU EVEN DEFEND THIS?
