Courtney Stodden's Anti-Bullying Message (VIDEO)

Courtney Stodden says she knows what it's like to be bullied. Even before she became a child bride, the upcoming recording artist and model, aspiring actress, dancer, and TV show hostess (she hosted a public access show called 'The Courtney Stodden Show'), posted a video on YouTube in 2010, on dealing with "criticism, hatred and jealousies."

In an interview with the FABlife, Stodden offers advice to others who find themselves being bullied:

"My advice to victims of bullies would be: victims, you need to realize that it's not [you]. It's the bully who's picking on them. It's their problem. There's nothing wrong with the victim. They're perfect, they're beautiful, and they need to stay true to themselves. Not just because someone who isn't true to themselves is picking on you. They need to think about that, realize that and embrace the truth."

Although a bit incoherent, there is a positive message in there somewhere, and Stodden appears to speak from experience. Her mother told ABC News that Courtney turned to home schooling at the age of 16 after being bullied by other girls.

In her 2010 PSA, Courtney reads out some of the comments she dealt with from haters in her hometown -- and this was well before she became known as 51-year-old Doug Hutchison's 16-year-old bride.

"You're hurting my eyes, get a life. Not doing this though, it's not what you were meant to do. You were meant to be killed. You scare me so much. Get a facejob, go back to school and don't be so stupid. This is horrible why would you torture people like this?"

If Stodden was dealing with local bullies back then telling her she was "meant to be killed," it's not hard to imagine how much hate she's dealing with now that she's really in the public eye.
