Fiesta Bowl 2012: Oklahoma State, Stanford Face Off; Which Team Will Win? (Predict)

Who Will Win?: Stanford Faces Off Against Oklahoma State In The Fiesta Bowl

Even though Oklahoma State and Stanford are set to face one another in the Fiesta Bowl on January 2nd, both schools are probably fuming over the party they're going to be missing out on in New Orleans. You see, that was an SEC-only invite. But even though they won't be playing for the biggest prize, if the Cowboys and the Cardinal bring their best games to Arizona, we may be in for the most entertaining contest of the bowl season.

Stanford is led into the game by Andrew Luck, who may be the most coveted quarterback prospect in a generation. Luck has met the high expectations set for him this season in leading The Cardinal to an impressive 11-1 record while asserting himself as a Heisman candidate for the second year in a row. He will have his chance to feast on a mediocre Oklahoma State defense that ranks 100th in the nation against the pass.

The Cardinal will need all the help they can get from Luck, as they will likely have their hands full with the second highest scoring offense in college football this season. Oklahoma State enters this game as the only team in the country that boasts a 4,000 yard passer (Brandon Weeden), 1,000 yard rusher (Joseph Randle) and 1,000 yard receiver Justin Blackmon.

If Alabama is to upset LSU in a sloppy game, don't be surprised if whoever wins this game to make some arguments for the AP National Championship.
