Carousel Gardens Amusement Park

is like a trip back in time. From the authentic wooden carousel and nearby Storyland displays, the park will certainly bring back memories for adults, while kids will simply have fun with all that the park has to offer.

Its Namesake

The antique carousel is the signature attraction at Carousel Gardens. Kids and kids at heart will love the wooden carousel featuring the masterwork of famed carvers Looff and Carmel. It is one of only 100 wooden carousels in the country and the last one in Louisiana.

Other Attractions

Carousel Park includes two Ferris wheels, bumper cars and a roller coaster. Enjoy the fun slide that is more than 40 feet long or take a trip around the park in a miniature train.

Food Options

Enjoy a selection of sandwiches, salads and desserts at the Parkview Cafe, which is actually an old casino building on the grounds. The Cafe also offers free wireless Internet access.

Adventure Quest Laser Tag

Adventure Quest Laser Tag Family Fun Center offers indoor fun for all ages. The Mayan motif runs throughout the facility, extending from the laser tag arena to the party rooms and cafe.

The 6,000-square-foot laser tag arena is the number one attraction at this facility. People of all ages can play in the multi-level Mayan ruins. There is even a place to watch the laser tag -- great for keeping an eye on the kids.

Aside from laser tag, Adventure Quest is home to Cosmic Golf, a nine-hole glow in the dark mini-golf course. Guests can also play bumper cars under the black lights and enjoy the hottest arcade games, including Dance Dance Revolution and Deal or No Deal.

Cafe Fare

Pizza, hot dogs, chicken wings and snack food are available at King Tut's Cafe. In addition to regular beverages, beer and wine are also sold.
