Brad Pitt's Parents On Angelina: 'Very Proud'

Nosy tabloids have wanted to know since forever: do Brad Pitt's parents approve of Angelina Jolie, the reformed wild child who now saves her "wild side" for Brad? Could his family finally embrace his "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" co-star after she allegedly stole him from beloved wife Jennifer Aniston -- whom mom Jane and sister Julie remained close to and still visited post-break-up?

In short, the answer is yes. (What else did you expect?)

Accompanying Angelina and Brad down the red carpet at the premiere of Angelina's directorial debut film, "In the Land of Blood and Honey," Jane and Brad Pitt looked the picture of proud parents, beaming alongside the Hollywood power couple. When asked by reporters, Brad's parents said they were "very proud" of their son's partner and that Angelina -- mother of the six Jolie-Pitts -- was a "really good mom."

Brad most recently told "Parade Magazine" in September that his marriage to Aniston may have had "something to do" with his not "living an interesting life" -- and that he was "trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn't."

Meanwhile, Brad and Angelina, who began publicly dating in 2005, have expressed no immediate plans to marry.

"We've explained to them that our commitment, when we decided to start a family, was the greatest commitment you could possibly have," Angelina told "Nightline" on Monday. "Once you have six children, you're committed."
