Charles Barkley Rips ESPN Analyst Skip Bayless: 'I Hate [Him] More Than Any Person In The World' (VIDEO)

Charles Barkley Hates Skip Bayless 'More Than Any Person In The World'

If there are two things we know about NBA legend Charles Barkley, it's that he's opinionated and outspoken. How else does a person write a book titled "I May Be Wrong But I Doubt It"?

On Friday, Sir Charles appeared on Dan Patrick's radio show and commented on the most controversial persons in sports outside of whomever picked the teams for the Sugar Bowl -- ESPN analyst Skip Bayless.

"Hey Dan, I've been watching your show, you're doing a good job, bro," Barkley said. "And I want to tell you the best thing you ever did. You know, because I hate Skip Bayless more than any person in the world. Thank you for giving me an alternative so I don't have to watch Skip Bayless in the morning. I will always be indebted to you, so I don't have to watch that a****** Skip Bayless."

In response to these sentiments, Skip Bayless later tweeted:

For those who need a refresher, Proverb 23:9 reads "Do not speak to a fool, for he will scorn the wisdom of your words." An interesting sentiment from a guy considered by many to be the more foolish half of any interaction. Of course, it's possible that Bayless' avoidance of Barkley speaks more to the longtime TV personality's regard for Barkley's toughness. After all, Bayless publicly ridiculed current NBA All-Star Chris Bosh, questioning his manhood and referring to him as "Bosh Spice" on air for several months. During that tete-a-tete, Bayless seemed to have no problem speaking face to face with Bosh.

IIf Barkley chooses to respond with another quote then perhaps he can direct the ESPN anchor to put down the Bible for some Shakespeare.

"Better a witty fool than a foolish wit." -Twelfth Night
