You are way ahead of your time!! I run into a lot of men that feel all they are is a pay check. No appreciation ever shown . Sex is appreciation shown. Talk to a divorced one and what do you hear? No sex. Why some couples dont even kiss any more. Affection is the first step to the joy of being together.

well my girlfriends and i don't really talk about sex all that much. we talk about politics, current events, life in general. and if even one of them told me she was having the hottest sex EVER i would say right on. but personally sex has pretty much been pushed to the back bedroom of life in my head. i "do it" now out of love and companionship for my spouse. not because my libido is all jazzed up.

Truth! I've worked in a "man's world" for over 30 yrs and u know who the horny ones are? That's right - the MARRIED guys! And they're either devoted no matter who hungry they are for sex, or trolling for what they hope is a regular encounter after work cuz it's just not happening at all there - I stopped being surprised a long time ago at how unfair Life can be between married and even unmarried longtime couples are, more like sadly surprised at who's suffering cuz Life's gotten in the way of the original coupledom : (

I sincerely agree with you, I tried to find out whether I was the only woman on the planet that had vaginal atrophy, that nasty thing every woman will get without topical hormones and I couldn't get any of my girlfriends to admit to having any problem at all! I would say painful sex is the reason women give up sex at midlife and I really wish this was discussed openly. All I had ever heard about menopause was hot flash this and that and nothing at all about this "little secret". Women pretending to have good sex post menopause with no problems at all is the biggest lie. If you read the comments associated with the video you will see the lies again. This doctor actually is speaking the truth. The women who claim to have no problem at all likely have no sex life so do not realize they have a problem - thinning vaginal lining is a reality and never discussed.
