KEDS Recall: 45,000 Pairs Of Girls' Shoes Pulled

Popular Girls’ Shoes Deemed Dangerous, Recalled

If you thought high heels were the worst offender in a woman's closet, think again. The popular shoe brand, KEDS (yep, the same KEDS you had at least one pair of in the 80s) has recalled 45,000 pairs of their "Know It All" girls' shoe -- a black and pink slip-on sneaker. Metal stars on the back of the shoe caused cuts and scratches a reported 27 times.

WWD said that Collective Brand (who owns KEDS) declined to comment.

The good news: You can email kedskidsrecall@collectivebrands.com for a $30 gift card so your purchase wasn"t a total waste.
