Rachel McAdams Wows In Marchesa At 'Sherlock Holmes' Premiere (PHOTOS)

Rachel, it's been awhile.

The actress has been lying low lately -- we haven't really seen her out since she was Occupying Wall Street in Toronto last month -- but we're glad she made it to the "Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows" premiere in Los Angeles last night,

Bedecked in a shimmery Marchesa Resort 2012 silver gown, Rachel looked ready to solve a really glamorous crime with her long train. She also wore Jacqueline Nerguizian jewelry and sparkly Louboutin booties (an interesting choice).

We're also loving her beauty picks: light makeup with a hint of pink gloss and a chic updo.

And her sartorial choice was true to form: Rachel usually opts for simple elegant on the red carpet, like this white Louis Vuitton gown and her tan trousers from Cannes this year.

But it seems Rachel had a style twin: Swedish actress Noomi Rapace was wearing a strikingly similar Valentino gown on the red carpet. Maybe the ladies could have benefitted from a pre-premiere conference call?

I cannot believe it, I'm stunned. she stepped out in a backless dress. I thought I'd heard it all, but THIS, this is huge!. I dont know what else to say. I just hope I can sleep tonight and may God have mercy on our souls

Was thinking the same thing---when you can count the individual spinal vertebrae going up her back & hang a coat and hat on them.......girl needs a couple home cooked meals..... !!!

Rachel is one of my favorite actresses. I find her to be very beautiful. In these photos, her body is awesome, but she looks tired to me? Her hair color looks off and she just looks exhausted. The one close up of her face was so off, I didn't think it was her.
Is it bad photography?

Wow, can't believe she's 33. Time flies.

Marchesa and Valentino consistently have the most beautiful gowns for these red carpet events, and this is no different. She looked fantastic, and the gown definitely highlighted her figure in all the right ways.

Rachel has been around for a few years. She still looks fresh, though, and is finally getting some juicer roles. Used to date Ryan Gosling.

Can't say I like the color but the gown design itself is fairly classic. Would have love to see it in either Royal Blue, Plum, Wine, Ivory, Light Blue, a Hunter Green, or even a Mint/Sea foam Green. That's just my opinion though. Even with my dislike of the color choice the dress is quite flattering on Ms. McAdams !!

Because of the shadow of the stars she can and does rate 10 stars, I can only guess what Sherlock discovered as they spent so muct time on film,hopefully we will get to see more in and after this film. Very Classic!! Enjoy Robert DJ :) JTD
