Glenn Beck Announces 'Restoring Love' Event In Dallas

Beck's New Extravaganza

Glenn Beck has just announced his latest event: a three-day community service program called "Restoring Love."

Beck made the announcement on his Thursday radio show. The event is slated to bring thousands of people to Dallas -- Beck's new hometown -- where they will work on community service projects organized by individual organizations across the area. The program, which takes place from July 26-28, will end in a "celebration of service" with speakers and performers at the Dallas Cowboys stadium. Participating in community service will be free, but tickets will be required for the stadium event.

"It is time to de-emphasize the political solution and first demand real change in ourselves," Beck said in a statement. "When we restore honor, courage and Love we will lead our nation away from fear, anger and hatred and 'finish the hard work ahead to heal our nation with malice toward none and charity for all.'"

His announcement marked the third in his series of "Restoring" events. He famously drew vast crowds to Washington, D.C. for his "Restoring Honor" rally in 2010, and held "Restoring Courage" in Jerusalem in 2011.
