Nely Galan's résumé is certainly impressive. The former president of the Telemundo network, the second largest Hispanic TV network in the U.S., has had a distinguished career in television media, in Spanish and English, in the U.S. and Latin America.

In this excerpt from a recent episode of LaFusion, the Latina super producer and media mogul talks about her work, family, and how being fired by Donald Trump on the hit show 'Celebrity Apprentice' catapulted her career to the next level.

She says she has both, 'The Donald' and Gene Simmons, to thank.

Galan recalls how the KISS bassist and reality TV star asked her "Why do you still act like an immigrant that's still struggling? Why don't you own that you've made it?"

She says "It was painful to hear, but it was true."

An entrepreneur since the age of 13, Galan's habits and drive have propelled her from success to success, always focused on what's next. "My number one value for my life, and that's my mantra, is I have to grow every day," she said.

What does she know about Success again? How many people "Latinos" have gotten a break because of her? She's been in the Business since 1995, I have yet to hear someone say because of her I'm in the Union. Much like Olmos,Esparza,Nava,Lopez(George) these people have done nothing to open doors for Latinos.

Look at the credits on their Shows,Films...

yeah.. but didn't you start out with your rich father helping you out? That always helps.... good for you though... I hope you are often giving others a chance to be as successful as you.
