Aha!    This is where he is going to go, eh?    FEAR people.  He will make people so afraid of something they know nothing about their already enlarged Amygdala will swell enormously.   Hmmm.  This will allow his many indiscretions and scams and lack of morality to be overlooked if he can convince these doomsday believers that he will help them  Read More...

So is Newt proposing to lead the anti-science party talking like this yet they aren't convinced about global warming or the effects of polution - based on science - thus necessitating regulations? Or the efficacy of stem cells? Maybe he can hire Tom Ridge as his chief Czar for Exterresterial Defense. He can mandate that each home must have lead shields for each member of the family, and iodine pills. And maybe E.D. will advise citizens to keep some boron around incase some radioactive particles fal from space. Eventually they may realize ED is them impotent against situations that should excite the proper responses.

But then maybe Godzilla, Gidra and Mothra will attack the US. Then while we're in a weaked state Russia and China will join forces led by Dr. No to invade. But then a huge volcano will rise up in the middle of the Great Plains....

Newt, please stop with the pseudo-science and terror tactics. Just stick to your "family" values desecularization agenda.

A view from across the pond : Newt Gingrich is regarded by the rest of the world as a very dangerous, volatile and hawkish person, and if elected as President of USA and thus be Commander in Chief would cause havoc by his military ambitions

Conservatives may want catharsis, but the rest of the public seems to mainly want reassurance. They already know Barack Obama isn’t the messiah he was once cracked up to be. What they don’t know is whether they can trust anyone else to do better.

If that ever does happen, getting the power restored will probably be the least of our worries....

No problems Newt. We can neutralize all such threats with our own superior mini pocket sized massive EMP pulse technology system.

It overcomes all technology limits.

Cheaper by the dozen.

Gingrich and others who suggest attacks on Iran ought to be arrested for making terrorist plans.

Not kidding.

I read the article. Mining the moon and mars? FOR IT. Have to figure out a way to get those precious stones back though that is inexpensive, and thats the tough part.

Actually, mining the Moon is probably the least _absurd of all _Gingrich's bright ideas. It would never get me to vote for him but I think a lot less of _Romney now (not that I ever thought much of him either) for _mocking him about it....
