Tina Fey Makeup-Free At Children's Musical Benefit (PHOTOS)

The phrase "makeup-free mom" should be redundant -- how many moms have time to put on makeup?! -- but in this hi-def, paparazzi-filled world, many celebrity mamas feel they don't have a choice.

So thank god for moms like Gwyneth Paltrow and Tina Fey, who bravely step out sans maquillage and look all the better for it.

Fey had a kiddie-filled day of fun this weekend, attending the performances of "Freckleface Strawberry The Musical" and "PETER PANTOmime" in New York. Sporting an off-duty look, Fey wore skinny jeans, a brown sweater, cute black ankle boots and a chic leather satchel.

Most importantly her face was nearly bare (although we may detect a hint of lipgloss and mascara...)

Either way, Tina appears fresh-faced and lovely (and totally relaxed -- her show, "30 Rock," doesn't come back to TV till January 12). And it's a whole lot better than her recent paint-spattered style.

An absolutely sensational woman. Looks. Talent. Perspective. She seems to have all three. And I think she looks gorgeous with or without her makeup. One thing for sure, no one can ever accuse her of vanity. LOVE 30 Rock!!! I've become an addict!

I can't believe people can actually find mean things to say about Tina Fey. I love her! 30 Rock is one of my favorite shows of all time! I like that she has self-confidence and does not seem to care what others think about her! Freaking amazing woman! She is so brilliant.

She needs to apply the mask, for she gains 15 years without it. Compare a side by side and you will agree. She is okay without it, but you can easily see the age lines.

I always thought she was a pretty girl, and the fact she looks just as good without make-up as she does with it moves her up the pretty scale for me.
