Bear Waves Hello: Cute/Ridiculous Animal Thing Of The Day (VIDEO)

WATCH: Bear Waves Hello

The Olympic Game Farm in Sequim, WA used to house the stars of Disney's nature films in the 1960's, but now it serves as a quiet reserve for orphaned and retired animals.

One of their residents, a Kodiak bear, has gone viral this week because he enjoys sitting by the fence and waving to visitors as they drive through the park. It's certainly not the first thing you'd expect from a 1,000 pound predator, but it's the unexpected nature of the gesture that makes it so wonderful.

And as charming as it is to watch him imitate the woman's wrist movements in the video above, it turns out that he's been waving at patrons for years. Hamming it up for the camera is a hobby of his.

We've dug up a couple more adorable videos of this guy in action for you to check out below, but we have to admit, the wrist-flipping one holds a special place in our hearts.
